Hamburg and Berlin, 20 December 2022 – The commercial law firm ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN (“ASD”) with more than 150 lawyers, notaries and tax advisors has joined the Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany (“aireg”). ASD, as one of the leading German law firms with offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Leer and Dresden, is an internationally recognized leader in the field of Aviation & Logistics, among others. With a progressive market development of sustainable aviation fuels and an increasing number of regulatory measures, legal aspects in the area of SAF production and its acceptance will gain importance in the short to medium term. ASD advises airlines and other companies within the aviation industry in all relevant aspects and provides its clients with future-oriented solutions in the fields of transport, aviation and logistics.

Christine Kranich, Partner at ASD, says about joining aireg: “With more than 20 years of experience in the field of aviation finance and having been involved in the topic of sustainable aviation for the last three years, I believe that joining aireg is a meaningful step towards being able to advise our clients in an even better way on the path to sustainable aviation. To do so, we would also like to participate as actively as possible in promoting aireg’s goals.”

Melanie Form, member of the aireg board and managing director of the office, says about joining: “We are delighted to welcome a member like ASD in the field of legal advice. Especially the cooperation with a law firm that is a leading consultancy in the aviation sector plays a significant role for our goal to defossilize air transport through sustainable energy sources.”
