aireg e.V. welcomes Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG as a member

aireg and its members welcome Rolls-Royce as a member. Rolls-Royce manufactures engines for civil and military committed to mitigating the climate impact of nowadays and future aviation. This goal gets further pursued with the aireg-membership.

Melanie Form, member of the board and managing director, commented on the membership: “We are pleased to welcome Rolls-Royce as a member. Together with our members, we will continue to push on with the development of sustainable aviation fuels at the whole value chain from production to utilization.”

On behalf of Rolls-Royce Deutschland, CEO Dr. Jörg Au said: “Aviation is a highly positive force, as it connects the world. However, we have to ensure its sustainability. Already today, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) have the potential to lower CO2-emissions  significantly. The combination of this potential and our highly efficient jet engines brings us one step closer to provide net-zero emissions for our customers.”
